I have recently completed my PhD dissertation at the Sociology Department of the University of Amsterdam.
I have a strong training in quantitative methods and experience in collecting primary survey data. My research expertise lies with social inequality relating to gender and sexuality and their intersection with other axes of inequality such as race and class.
In my dissertation I examine differences and commonalities in social well-being between persons in same-sex and mixed-sex relationships in European societies. I use a survey-based, comparative approach to uncover potential structural disadvantages between the union types.
